National Ocean Sciences Bowl
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl is an annual competition series for high school students across the nation held to fill the gap and promote an interest in ocean science related fields and careers. Early each year, close to two thousand students participate in regional competitions across the country to qualify for the National Competition. A team of our students participate in the Hurricane Bowl, held at the University of Southern Mississippi's Marine Education Center in February.
