Camp FAQ

What kinds of camps do you offer and for what ages/grade levels?

We offer camps for children as young as 6 years old up through 15 (grades 1-8). Our camps strive to get children of all ages outdoors into nature as much as possible and may include inquiry based labs, kayaking, SUP (grades 3 and up) animal encounters, labs, crafts, scavenger hunts, games and more.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

Your child will need to bring sun block, a lunch (no peanut products please), drink and water bottle, water shoes (or old tennis shoes-something that can be worn in the water), beach towel and a change of clothes. Grades k-2 campers need to bring a snack, not a lunch.

What are the dates/times of camps – are they half or full day?

Camps can be full or half day. The times of the specific camp are listed under their camp description.

How much do camps cost?

Camp prices vary. Please see individual camp descriptions.

Do you offer discounts to families sending more than one child to camp?

Unfortunately, no. We do not offer discounts for families sending multiple children to camp.

Do you offer scholarships at this time?

Sorry, at this time, we can’t offer scholarships. However, if grants become available, we will offer scholarships to children who are eligible for the federal lunch program.

What is the ratio of camps to counselors?

Our group sizes are small, with a camper to staff ratio of 4:1 at most. An outstanding SRCSD teacher will be assigned to each class.

How many children in each session?

20 students maximum.

Can my child attend more than one camp session during the summer?

There are multiple themes offered for different age groups. Your child may attend all of the different theme options within their age group. Please refer to the camp registration form for details.

Are these drop-off camps or must I accompany my child?

All of our camp sessions are drop-off camps. Parents MUST sign their camper in and out every day. A picture id is required upon drop off and pick up.

Do you offer before or after-care?

Sorry, no.

How can I register?

Click the "Events & Camps" tab at the top of the screen, scroll to the camp you want to sign up for, the click "Register Here". You will be redirected to Ticketbud and pay through their ticketing system

When will I know that my child got into the camp we selected? How will I be notified?

You will receive a confirmation email when you pay online. Please print and save.

What is your cancellation policy?

We reserve the right to cancel a camp session due to insufficient enrollment. If we cancel a session, all fees will be fully refunded. If you remove your child from a camp session before it begins, there is NO REFUND. Sorry, we are unable to make exceptions.
